CELESTI-EL PRESIDENTE

One for the more experienced home bartender, this is a clarified El Presidente using Celestial Spiced.

    • 50ml Celestial Spiced

    • 30ml dry vermouth

    • 10ml orange liqueur

    • 5ml citric acid

    • 25ml whole milk

    • 5ml grenadine (bottom of glass)

  • Mix together rum, vermouth, citric acid and Cointreau and then add the mixture to the milk. Filter the whole lot using a coffee filter taking care to remove the cloudy drops which will percolate through first (these can be re-added to the filter).

    Stir down the resulting clarified cocktail with ice and serve over a block of ice with grenadine in the base of the glass. Garnish with red cherry.
