The Bog Cutter

A quintessentially Scottish cocktail, made with the nation’s favourite drinks! Maybe… It’s definitely lush though, complex and very drinkable.

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml Pure Single Rum OR Cask Aged Rum

  • 30 ml Gin

  • 30 ml Buckfast

  • 30 ml Irn Bru syrup

  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice

Syrup:
Empty a 330 ml can of Irn Bru into a saucepan, heat and stir out the carbonation. Add around 300g of caster sugar to make a 1:1 syrup. Adjust sugar/dilute with water as required to taste.

Method:
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with something extra, like an umbrella, because why not?!
